While the hardware unit isn’t the easiest device to use, a digital interface makes it extremely simple, by combining the features in a single set:
- Limiting ceiling.
- Compression threshold.
- Expansion or gating threshold.
This set, once defined, can be moved as one to reach the best sounding position on incoming signal’s dynamic range.
A wide graphical metering screen makes everything visible at once, integrating the information given by the meters and LEDs.
Control the whole dynamic range of the signal, tame peaks, increase perceived volume, increase detail on low levels.
